Redisigning a bathroom in an old house

Zen of project

Built in the 1950s, the adobe house needed to be redesigned. The old wing of the building contained a kitchen, a living room, and a small bedroom. The other half was recently completed: the brick walls were still intact and were waiting to be finished and become part of the comfortable space.

A special wish of the client was to combine two bathrooms in the old and new sections of the house into one large bathroom. On the floor and walls, the designer Natalia Gurkina laid porcelain stoneware from the Kailás collection, with the texture of natural stone and the noble Light Beige hue. The main accent of the shower area was the vertical of the end wall, made of mosaic Cube décor of the same name collection.
